Living Green Olympia

Tour of Homes 2012 in Olympia WA Area!

The Olympia Tour of Homes, put on by Olympia Master Builders, is always a great opportunity to check out some new and remodeled homes by some of the best builders and remodelers in our area.  The 2012 Olympia Tour of Homes began last weekend, and continues this coming weekend, August 25th & 26th.  Hours are from 11 AM until 5 PM both days, and the homes are in Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater and Yelm.  Eleven of them are brand new construction and two are remodels - and energy efficiency is a key component.

Inspiration House by Scott Homes

I love seeing the latest floor plans and materials chosen for these homes, and always learn something new about ways to make new or remodel projects as "green" and energy efficient as possible.  Check out the list of homes on tour and go visit some or all of them!  You can even vote for your favorite kitchen, master bath, overall floor plan etc.  And don't miss the "Inspiration House" by Scott Homes - it showcases how easily practical and beautiful can co-exist, and includes some energy efficient features that will knock your socks off!  (Who wouldn't be intrigued by a house you can heat for less than $200 per year???)

Showing Olympia - Let me show it to you!!
