Glimpses of Olympia - The Kissing Couple Statue

Olympia Kissing Couple Statue

This Kissing Couple statue is a downtown Olympia favorite, and it's not at all unusual to see people posing by it for a photo (maybe even throwing in their own kiss).

It has been the location for who knows how many proposals, and is a favorite to show off to visitors as they tour Olympia's downtown waterfront area.

The statue is on the boardwalk at Budd Inlet and is walking distance from Farmer's Market and lots of great waterfront area stores, restaurants, and a view of boats galore.  On a clear day, you can enjoy the snow-topped Olympics in the distance to the north as well.

Seasonally the kissing couple sometimes even acquire a bright scarf or hat to keep them warm.

Whimsy, art, fun - another glimpse of Olympia!
