What a great concept.  We have some architectural salvage stores in our area, but I think they're pretty pricey.  I'd love to go "junk shopping" for reasonably priced salvaged things and then figure out a way to repurpose them.

Isn't it an awesome concept?  I know the ReStores are located other places too - but just know the one here is sure fun to shop at.  Something new all the time - and sometimes some really incredible buys!

What a fantastic story to share.  I love the name and I am sure you can find just about anything there!

Thanks Melanie!  And part of the fun of shopping there is that the available items change every time depending on what donations have come in.

Tucson has one of those too - an excellent way to get rid of things that are of no use to you, but others may. They pick up, too!  Terrific community service to blog about, thanks!

Thanks Cara - I love that it does make it so easy to donate things you don't need and find others that you DO need!
