The photo is beautiful but I had to put on my jacket to view it.  It looks cold there.

Thanks Ronald - and luckily we are actually  having a pretty mild winter here - I think it was in the 40's when I took this photo...

Thanks Denise!  I always feel like it is impossible to really capture a sunset or sunrise adequately (on my camera at least) but this came close to the "in person" view.

Great photo! I just drove through Olympia a couple weeks ago heading to California from Cle Elum Washington visiting family. It is so beautiful out there on the west coast!

Hi Carol!  Hey you should've stopped by to say hi!  This is a beautiful place to live for sure (& nice that we aren't up to our armpits in snow as well)

Hi Nancy - What a beautiful shot--I love looking out on water . . . someday again!

Wow, Nancy!  This is an amazing photo.  I love the way you got the reflection on the water.

Thanks Michael - this is really just a pond that is walking distance from our house, so it's much smaller than Lake Tahoe - but beautiful.

Hi Chris - thanks!  I always say, semi-jokingly that I can never live on the water unless I am retired because I would just want to stay home all the time.  But I do enjoy being able to go see the water & love that we have not only ponds like this but lakes galore and then beaches on the salt water.

Thanks Patricia - I was standing there admiring the view and then realized I did have my camera with me...

Great photo Nancy. Thanks for sharing. Must be nice to be within walking distance to such a beautiful sunset location. Keep them photos coming.
