Living Green Olympia: Olympia Farmers Market - Filled With Colorful Goodies!

Olympia Farmers Market - Filled With Colorful Goodies!

I made a quick stop by Olympia Farmers Market this morning on the way to the office so I could get some blueberries (yum) - and noticed that this is the time of year when vibrant, colorful stands are all over the market!

 Veggies at Olympia Farmers Market

Colorful veggies are enticing and bursting with that locally grown freshness that is so hard to beat.

 Flowers at Olympia Farmers Market

Colorful flowers are calling me to find even more spots in the garden where I could just one more pretty plant (well maybe two more...)

Tie Dye at Olympia Farmers Market

And colorful tie-dye shirts and other clothing remind me of the past - and yet still have that charm of fabric rich with color.  Hmmmm - maybe I NEED a new t-shirt???

Stop by Olympia Farmers Market to enjoy the summery burst of color and life!

I always love seeing how farmers display they beautiful vegetables and fruits/  The flowers are always amazing, I can't wait till tomorrow when we go to our market, and buy lots of heiloom tomatoes for the week.  Have a great weekend. A

Thanks Alexandra - you have a great weekend too - those heirloom tomatoes sound yummy and ours aren't ripe yet...

Hi Brenda - it is such a fun Farmers Market with always something new and very, very inviting to see or plant etc.  And the blueberries I bought yesterday are really yummy!!  Might need to head back down to get more later...

Thanks Lisa & Robert - you have a great weekend too!  I will probably be back to Farmers Market before the weekend ends to get some more of the berries while they are in season - yum!

Hi Sharon - aren't Farmers Markets just the best thing ever?  Since the deer keep eating my veggies in our garden at home, I need to go shopping again I think!

Oh I love farmer's markets but they are so few and far between here in Vegas!  Love the colors and sights of the Olympia Farmer's Market that you have posted here :)

Thanks Renee - yes we are lucky to have several in our area though this is the largest and since it is a covered building, they stay open clear into December...  This time of the year, I try to get down there weekly to buy fresh veggies and fruit!
