Here Come Holiday Bazaars for 2011 in Olympia WA Area!

The holiday bazaars have already started in the Olympia WA area for this 2011 season - and after some fun browsing...and a little bit of buying this past weekend, I am looking forward to the upcoming weekend.

 

 

Holiday decorations

One of my favorite bazaars, the Olympia High School Bearzaar will be on Saturday, November 19th, 2011 from 9-4 at Olympia High School.  This bazaar is always packed with vendors showing off everything from jewelry, scarves, hats, jams, holiday decorations and ornaments to handmade cards, children's wooden toys and puzzles - so many things it gets hard to make choices!

The first year I went to this bazaar, I remember at one point wondering if I had actually seen all the displays or not as the bazaar spills into corridors, the gymnasium, the cafeteria and commons areas (and you really have to go around twice to make sure you don't miss anything and backtrack to those things you couldn't decide about...).

So pack up your holiday shopping list, some money, grab a friend and get ready for the fun of shopping for some unique gifts for family and friends - and supporting the local economy as you do it!

Thanks Karin!  I love them too, and really like the idea of finding something handmade and unique for those on my shopping list.

Don't spend all your money, Nancy!  I am a SUCKER for the local Holiday Bazaars so I KNOW I would spend all mine scooping up all the wonderful hondcrafted items for sale!  Have a terrific time at all the Holiday Bazaars in Olympia WA.

Hi Leesa! They are really fun aren't they? My biggest problem is that I always find way too many things to buy for my sister (you know...all the stuff that I want!)

Hahaha John - yes they can be hazardous to the bank account! I usually try to get cash to take and tell myself if I spend it all I'm done (doesn't alway work of course). LOL
