This winter in so many parts of the country is creating scenes not previously witnessed in photos. . .This is a new one for me:-)

Nancy, I don't know which I feel worse for....your car or the tree.    It will melt, eventually.

Thanks Richie. I can enjoy that picture a lot more now that the ice is all melted!

Myrl, it was a new one for me too. The weight of all that ice just had branches drooping low all along our driveway - so of course I thought Camera! Blog post! LOL

Hi Ron. We were actually in my husband's pickup as my car couldn't even make it out the driveway in all the snow we had. And thankfully it's pretty much all melted now and we're back to our nice normal rain (can't believe I'm so happy to see rain!)

Nancy,

We've had similar weather with all its beauty, yet today the sunshine has decided to peek through... g

Hi Gordon. We had several really gorgeous sunny springlike days after all the snow had come and gone...now back to our regularly scheduled rain showers. :)

Nancy, this is an amazing photo!  We're supposed to get snow tonight, and I'm hoping for a photo op in the morning.

Nancy, the ice covered branches are so pretty. Hope the trees hang in there and don't 'fall apart.'

This is the kind of weather I'm used to in the Winter, but this year has been ridiculous....hardly any winterness at all!  GREAT title for the picture!

HI Patricia!  My husband was laughing at me because I was saying Stop!  Stop!  I have to get my camera for a blog picture!!  LOL

Maria - we did lose some branches that just couldn't take the weight of all that ice, but thankfully none of the trees close to our house, and most of them hung in there OK until the warming weather got that ice cover melted off.

Thanks Sharon!!  It SO reminded me of driving thru a carwash and seeing those swoopy things come up over the windshield.  And we've had enough winter to suit me - on to springtime please!!!
